Digital Specs for Submitting Art
Submitting high quality artwork is critical in producing high quality screen printed garments. Yesterdays Sportswear cannot be held responsible for printing errors caused by mistakes contained in the original artwork.
File Types
Yesterdays Sportswear accepts a wide range of file formats. Our preferred file format is vector art created in FreeHand or Adobe Illustrator as EPS, AI or PDF documents. If vector art not available, a high resolution (300 dpi minimum) bitmap file in either TIF or PSD format can be accepted. Artwork of lesser quality will effect the quality of the final printed garments.
Image Sizes
Please send files at actual size or if you prefer, we can resize the artwork to fit garment size and placement limitations. There is no standard size that works on all shirts or with all designs and personal preference often plays a large part in the sizing of artwork. You may use the following guidelines when sizing your art:

small left chest : 3 1/2" wide

mid chest : 4" to 8" wide

full front : 10" to 12" wide

full back : 10" to 14" wide

short sleeve : max 3 3/4" wide

long sleeve : 3 3/4" wide by 17" long

nape of neck : 3 1/2" to 5" wide

Ink Colors
Yesterdays Sportswear stocks many standard ink colors which generally work for a majority of our orders. However, you may wish to include Pantone Matching System (PMS) numbers with your artwork to insure that we print just the right shade of color you want.

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact our art department.
